Lake Travis ISD is currently piloting iTopia, a platform that will allow students to stream software such as Adobe, Autodesk, and PLTW Apps on their Chromebooks. During this session, teachers will be introduced to iTopia, create CoudApp classes, plan the steps needed to introduce this platform to students, and simulate streaming graphic-intensive software as a student.

Join fellow Middle School and High School Algebra I teachers in a collaborative discussion exploring ways to align our curriculum pacing and assessment practices between MS and HS Algebra I courses, creating consistency across our district. We'll also  discuss a plan for transitioning to the Desmos calculator and share our approaches for building a strong foundation for higher-level math courses. This session is an opportunity for us to exchange insights, learn from each other, and work together to further strengthen our Algebra I instruction. Your experiences and ideas are valuable as we collectively alignour approach to teaching Algebra I at both the middle and high school levels.
